If specs, specification sheets, or drawings are needed, please contact the office. Some customers do not have drawings in those instances, we will send a picture of what the cage will resemble.
Enclosure: All standard enclosures come with two security boxes. The security bows help prevent theft, accidents, vandalism, and tampering. The security boxes protect from bolt cutters, cut wheels, and other types of tools used in theft.
All standard cages are powder coated. The cages are cleaned with acetone, sandblasted, then powder coated. A zinc primer is also used to help fight corrosion.
Hardware: Hardware is included in the price.
Locks: Locks are not included in the price of the cage. If you need locks, we can provide Master Loda that are keyed alike. If you purchase a lock, we are not responsible for lost kays, or, the lock malfunction for any reason.
Lock: Use 3/4″ to 1″ height shackles locks for best protection. The body size should not be any wider than 19/16″ to 1 3/4″. These are to be used for the standard cages and some customs.
Shipping: Shipping is a separate charge. Shipping is not included in the price of the cage. Standard UPS ground services are provided by UPS Parcel Services. The cage will be shipped once payment has been received and cleared.
Warehousing: All standard GE-5 to GE-4 units are warehoused and shipped out of Huntington Beach, CA. Most customs are shipped from Downey, CA. A third party shipping company is used on large custom & standard cage orders.
Damages in Transit: Any damages that are noticed when the cage arrives…. the damage must be reported immediately to the courier. Do not accept any damaged goods. If you receive a damaged cage that has an apparent defect, then it would be the client’s responsibility to ship the cage back to Guardian Enclosures, LLC. Make sure to take photos of the cage and forward them to management immediately. Don’t let the driver leave until we have reached a representative of the currier.
Not Terms 15 days, 20 days, 30 days: Net terms are available to certain clients on large orders. Not everyone will qualify for terms. Please ask for qualifications for net terms. It is management’s discretion whether or not to offer net terms.
Powder Coating: Powder coating is done by a third party. We do not have a facility on site. So, all sandblasting, cleaning of metals, and coating are conducted off-site. If can take 2 to 5 business days to get a line for powder coat. We do not determine when customs will be coated.
Freight: The freight carrier that we use is World Wide Express for our GE-4 and large orders, and our large custom orders that need to be placed on a palet and wrapped. Freight can take 1 day to 5 days of transit, depending on where the cages have to be shipped. Make sure to have a forklift available for large orders and heavy cages. We can only freight to a commercial location.
Online Orders: If a cage is improperly ordered by the client, a restocking fee of 25% will be charged. In addition to the recoding fee, a new shipping fee will be charged to ship the replacement cage. The return of the cage is the responsibility of the client. Make sure to measure and know which cage is needed before ordering. Once payment is cleared and the address is verified, the cage will be shipped either ground or freight. Please make sure to give email address and phone number so we can verify the order.
